However, as per our bank’s policy, the first payment into your account should be from your own name. This is to ensure that the funds are being transferred legitimately and that there are no potential issues with fraud or money laundering.

An individual must have attained the age of 18 or above.

To open an account with iFAST Global Bank, you need to follow these 5 easy steps: 

Step 1: Go to iFAST Global Bank website and fill out the application form.

Step 2: Gather your ID or passport and address proof, which you need to upload. 

Step 3: You can do a short self-recording video by answering few questions. For Some cases, if self-recording video is not an option, you can also schedule a timeslot for video verification call with our onboarding team. 

Step 4: For self-recording customer, your application will send directly to our internal team for review. For customer scheduled video call for onboarding, you will receive a confirmation email that will include the scheduled time for the video call. 

Step 5: After the video call, the bank will review your application and inform you of the outcome soon.

For Hong Kong residents, a valid Hong Kong passport and proof of address are accepted for the application process.

The necessary documents may vary based on your nationality, and you may refer to the acceptable documents below in JPG, JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats:

Identity Document:
1. National ID Card
2. Passport
3. Driver’s License (Only UK Driver’s License is acceptable)
 
Proof of Address:
1. Bank Statements
2. Utility Bills (Electric, Water, Gas)
3. Council Tax
 
In the meantime, the Proof of Address is required to include the following details as well:
1. Your Full Name
2. Your Residential Address
3. Date (not more than 3 months)
